The Wine:
The Bouley family can trace their winemaking lineage back to the early 14th century and Jean-Marc took over the family domaine in 1985 after the death of his father. Today the estate spans 12 hectares in Volnay, Pommard and Beaune.
Unfurling in the glass with aromas of sweet wild berries, plums, raw cocoa and sweet spices, Bouley's 2020 Volnay Village is medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless, with an ample core of rich but vibrant fruit and a harmonious, complete profile, concluding with a saline finish.
